过去几年的酒店投资，使得布达佩斯的酒店客房间数增加到至19000间。
根据匈牙利旅游局的数据，在2016年前10个月，游客在匈牙利度过了7,084,000个夜晚，这意味着游客人数增加了14.3％，住宿业收入增长了10％。
如果这种增长持续，到2018年将需要2,000个酒店房间，这可能意味着布达佩斯需要多增加24-25个新酒店。
