在为期两天的IHIF论坛上，洲际也宣布了各种好消息。洲际酒店集团在会议上也宣布了在德国将开业8家假日酒店及智选假日。德国是洲际酒店集团在欧洲第二大主场，洲际在德国有69家已开业酒店以及38个筹备酒店。
现在，洲际酒店集团又收购了精品酒店Kimpton，然后又推出了一个新的自有品牌Even。业内专家预测洲际还会继续做大规模的并购。
