近日，巴塞罗那政府的一纸禁令或将改变这种局面。属于旅游事业过度的中心区，不能再新开张与旅游下榻住宿有关的行业，如酒店、旅馆、旅游公寓等。
巴塞罗那市区被划为四大块（如图所示），以深红、浅红、深黄和浅黄四色划分，颜色越深，酒店业限制越严厉。
