根据谷歌印度行业总监 Vikas Agnihotri 透露，到 2020 年，印度线上酒店行业的市场规模预计将达到 40 亿美元，年复合增长率为 25%。很明显，数字化将会在线上旅游规划、旅游产品搜索、以及酒店预订等领域扮演越来越重要的角色。
该报告还指出，到 2020 年，印度旅游市场规模预计将会从 2015 年的 270 亿美元增长到 480 亿美元，增长率将会达到 11-11.5%。
