据中国之声《新闻纵横》报道，近期总部位于美国的全球知名酒店万豪国际集团在给中国会员发布的活动邮件中，将我国的“港澳台”地区和“西藏”单独列入“国家”一栏，此事引起中国民众的强烈不满。1月11号，上海市网信办责令万豪国际集团从11号18点起对官方中文网站、中文版APP自行关闭一周，开展全面自查整改，彻底清理违法违规信息，同时万豪国际集团方面也公开表示道歉。
