新加坡媒体9月13日报道称，新加坡酒店业恢复至与2019年出现新冠疫情前相等的水平。在今年7月份，酒店客房收入约为3.19亿新加坡元(约合人民币15.85亿元)，同比增加3.5倍。
新加坡贸工部兼文化、社区及青年部政务部长刘燕玲表示，酒店业是在旅游业的带动下恢复。根据数据统计，今年上半年，新加坡吸引了约150万人次到访，是2021年上半年的近12倍。
