特朗普酒店集团为其投资组合增添了一个新品牌——美国理念（American Idea）。与特朗普酒店品牌或是四星级酒店品牌Scion不同，该品牌将定位于三星级中档品牌推出，预算友好，呼应美国总统特朗普在竞选过程中引用的“美国第一”的口号。
该公司于6月5日在川普大楼的一个招待会上宣布了这一消息，恰逢第三十九届纽约大学招待费投资会议在纽约举行。
