消息称，中东首富、沙特王子 Al-Waleed Bin Talal（阿尔瓦利德）将联手私人房地产投资公司,从印度企业集团手中收购著名的纽约广场饭店。
Al-Waleed Bin Talal 已经拥有 The Plaza New York 50%的股权，Ashkenazy Acquisition Corp. 则拥有纽约多处地产，包括 Barneys New York 在 Madison Avenue 的旗舰店，NYLO 酒店等。
